Peacefully, with her family by her side, on Sunday, November 5, 2017, of Ruth Dianne Miller, RN of Lot 16, aged 68 years. Born in Summerside, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Jeannie (MacLaurin) Betton. Beloved mother of Debra Miller (Kevin Lucas) and William “Billy” (Kirsten MacCallum) and Grammie to her special granddaughter Lila June Miller. Survived by her sister Edith (Allison) MacLean; her brother Robert “Bob” Betton; numerous nieces, nephews and their families; and by her special companion Brandy. Predeceased by her husband Douglas Miller; parents-in-law Bill, Jean and Ella Miller; sister-in-law Gail Betton; and by her nephew Michael MacLean. Visiting hours will be held at the Lot 16 United Church, 1184 Route 12, Lot 16, on Wednesday from 4-7 p.m. Funeral service will be held at the Lot 16 United Church, on Thursday at 10:30 a.m. Interment in Lot 16 United Church Cemetery. Memorial donations to the Lot 16 United Church Cemetery Fund or the Oncology Unit of the Prince County Hospital would be appreciated.
