It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our son, David Conrad O’Brien, 38, on October 24, 2017. He was born in Glace Bay, NS and shortly after graduation moved to Edmonton, AB.
He is survived by his parents, Connie and Doreen (Keats); maternal grandmother, Dora Keats; Leigh-Anne O’Brien, the loving mother of his two boys, Jack and Josh; siblings, Dawn (Justin), Sonya, Holly (Ryan) and Andrew. He is also survived by his parents-in-law, Rick and Donna Spradbrow, and brothers-in-law, Brent (Cristina) and Kirk. He will be greatly missed by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends in Alberta and Nova Scotia.
He was predeceased by his paternal grandparents, Joseph and Molly O’Brien, of Gardiner Mines.
Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will occur at T.J. Tracey’s Cremation and Burial Specialists, 370 Reserve St., Glace Bay, NS, 902-849-4199 on Friday, November 10, 2017 from 5 p.m. – 7 p.m.
