Daphne May Kirkness passed away with her family by her side on early Wednesday morning, November 8, 2017. She was born in Rangoon, Burma in February 17, 1926. She was predeceased by her husband Kirk in 1992. She is lovingly cherished and remembered by her children Doug and Jill Scheske, John and Rhonda Kirkness; grandchildren, Chad and Wendy Scheske, Amy and René Boudreau, Sam Kirkness and Ellen Kirkness; great-grandchildren Téa and Kiera Scheske, Maïka and Caleb Boudreau. A Funeral Service will take place Monday, November 13, 2017, at 1:30 PM, at St. Aidan Anglican Church (124 1 Ave NE, Moose Jaw, SK S6H 0A9). The Reverend Deacon Arleen Champion will officiate. The family wishes to extend their sincere thanks to all the caregivers and staff at Moose Jaw Extendicare for their compassionate care of Daphne. In lieu of flowers, Memorial Donations may be made to the Moose Jaw Humane Society (1755 Stadacona Street West, Moose Jaw, SK S6H 7K7).
