Roger Fabian Costello, 70, of Sydney River, passed away peacefully Sunday, November 19, 2017 at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital.
Originally from Whitney Pier, he was the eldest son of the late Cyril and Madelyn Costello.
He is survived by sisters, Debbie Kyte (Don), Diane MacGregor (Tiree), Celeste MacPherson (Stuart) and Colleen Dunn (Bobby), and brothers, Barry (Starla), Rick (Darlene) and David (Helen). He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
A carpenter by trade, he worked in the family construction company alongside his father and brothers. He also made many friends in the carpentry department at Reeves Modular Homes.
Remains are resting at T.W. Curry Parkview Chapel where visitation will take place on Wednesday, November 22 from 7-9 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, November 23 at 11 a.m. at Our Lady of Fatima Church, 1452 Kings Rd., Sydney River with Rev. Duaine Devereaux officiating.
