The death occurred at Prince Hospital, Summerside on Thursday, November 23, 2017 of William “Shelton” MacKay of Summerside, formerly of Tyne Valley, aged 97 years. Born on August 27, 1920 in East Bideford, son of the late William & Lula (Johnston) MacKay. Loving father to Douglas (Sandra), Haliburton, On; Steven (Patti), Holland Landing, ON and Cheryl (Mark) Schollen, Markham, ON. Dear grandfather to Lauren (Ben), Brian, Erica, Daniel, Scott, Carlee and Nicole. Shelton was predeceased by his parents, brothers Vernon (Marjorie) and Charles (Jean). Resting at Ferguson Tyne Valley Funeral Chapel, with visiting hours on Monday from 9:30a.m. until the time of the funeral at 11:00 a.m in the chapel.
