Fisher, John Henry Archibald – age 75, Central Onslow, passed away peacefully at home with his family at his side on November 26th, 2017. Born in Dean on May 1st, 1942, he was a son of the late Christopher and Emily (Dean) Fisher. He is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Diane (Green); daughter, Heather Maxwell at home; son Christopher (Jennifer), Truro Heights; grandchildren Alicia, Andrew, and Mikaela Maxwell, and Evan and Olivia Fisher; sisters, Penny (Frank) Pettipas, New Glasgow; Ferne (Matt) Miles, Dartmouth; Emily Dunbar, Oxford; sisters-in-law Jean Fisher, Upper Musquodoboit; Carol Fisher, Dartmouth; Ellen Fisher, New Brunswick. He was predeceased by brothers, Albert, David, Roy, Ralph, Art, Lewis, and Duncan; sisters, Margaret and Blanche; special cousin Ethel Hawes. At John’s request, there will be no visitation or funeral service. Burial will be at a later date in Onslow Island Cemetery, Central Onslow.
