It is with heartfelt sadness we announce the passing of David Samuel Mayall. Dave passed away peacefully with family by his side on Monday November 27, 2017. David was born in Moose Jaw to Samuel and Lillian (Guy) Mayall on March 28, 1937. He attended King George School and Peacock Collegiate. He spent most of his working years with McGavin’s Bakery and the Moose Jaw Catholic School Board. David leaves to grieve his wife of 56 years Loretta; son Scott; daughter-in-law Sharon; grandsons Jaylen and Marcus; brother Don (Arlene) and their children Denise (Dale), Jeffery (Charmaine) and Michelle. Dave will be truly missed by numerous brothers and sisters -in-law, nieces, nephews and his step sister Nita and step brothers Dale and Dennis O’Shaughnessy. Dave will also be missed by the Clem and Barb Andreas family, considered by Dave and Loretta as their second family. The family would like to give special thanks for the exceptional care to the doctors and the staff at the Dr. F.H. Wigmore Regional Hospital and Providence Place. A Memorial Mass will be held on Friday December 1, 2017 at 10:30AM, St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church, 1064 3rd Ave NW. Father George (Virki) Thattuparampil will preside. Donations in David’s memory can be made to St. Joseph’s Building Fund, Moose Jaw and District Food Bank, Wakamow Valley Authority or Charity of Choice.
