Viola Alma Ramsay
The death occurred, at Moncton City Hospital, on Wednesday, December 6, 2017 of Viola Alma Ramsay, of O’Leary, aged 90, beloved wife of the late Harry S. Ramsay. Viola was born in Miminegash on June 18, 1927, daughter of the late James and Adeline (Dugay) Hustler. Cherished mother to Geraldine Ryan, Westville, NS; Rena (Marvin) Jackson, O’Leary; Pat (Roy) Peters, Duvar; Lorne (Phyllis) Ramsay, Howlan; Gaytane (Wayne) Gallant, St. Louis; Judy Jones, Campbellton and Irving Ramsay, Alberton. Loving grandmother to 21 grandchildren, 40 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. Dear sister to Cora Gallant, Miminegash; Mel Ross, Toronto and sister in law Annie Ramsay, O’Leary. Viola was predeceased by her parents, husband Harry, daughter Mary infancy, sons in law Harry Smith, Edward Shaw, Alton Jones, Hughie Ryan, brothers and sisters Henry, Chester, Lester, Lottie, Jim and Emma, great grandson Seth and granddaughter in law Carol Ann Peters. Resting at Ferguson Funeral Home and Chapel, O’Leary with visiting hours Friday from 5-8 p.m. and Saturday until 10 a.m. then to St Anthony’s Roman Catholic Church, Woodstock for Funeral Mass at 10:30 a.m. Interment in the Parish Cemetery.
