Stellarton - George Charles Stuart, age 77, of Stellarton, passed away Saturday, December 2, 2017, in the Aberdeen Hospital. Born in Trenton, he was a son of the late George Edward and Christena May (Clyburn) (Peckham) Stuart. He was retired from the Canadian Armed Forces. He was a member of Royal Canadian Legion Br. 28, Stellarton. He is survived by sons: Donnie and Gregory; grandson, Jordi; sisters: Gloria Allen; Katherine Lennex; Shirley (Stan) Vachel; brothers: Donald; Robert. He was predeceased by brothers: Ernest, James, Reginald, John and Edward; sisters: Maude, Helen and Gladys. There will be no visitation or service by request. Burial will be in the Abercrombie Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of the R.H. Porter Funeral Home, New Glasgow. www.rhporter.ca
