The death occurred, at Prince County Hospital, Summerside on Friday, December 8, 2017 of Hazel Pearle Bernard, of Lady’s Slipper Villa, O’Leary, formerly of Unionvale, aged 86, beloved wife of Leonard Bernard. Hazel was born in Springfield West on April 13, 1931, daughter of the late Jarvis & Eleanor (Gay) Dyment. Cherished mother to Donna (Alyre) Gallant, Kelly Road; Gary (Linda), Boyd (Cindy) and David (Lisa), all of O’Leary. Loving grandmother to 16 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren. Dear sister in law to Andrew (Marjorie) Wood, Howlan. Hazel was predeceased by her parents, daughter Florence, sisters Bertha Eileen and Olga Jean. Resting at Ferguson Funeral Home and Chapel, O’Leary with visiting hours on Sunday 2-5 p.m. Funeral service in the Chapel on Monday at 2 p.m. Interment in the Knutsford Cemetery.
