It is with great sadness the family of Jessie Brushett announce her passing on December 7, 2017 at the age of 92. Born in England, Jessie was the daughter of the late Gordon and Jessie Ella (Maskell) Trelawney.
She is survived by daughters, Patricia (Wayne) Sullivan, Victoria Mines, Elsie (Dave) MacLeod, Coxheath and Doris Smith, Windsor; sons, Wayne (Charlotte), New Waterford, Robert (Juana), Victoria Mines; sister, Dorothy Roberts, England; eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Jessie enjoyed knitting and crocheting but her biggest enjoyment was spending time with her loving children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren as family was everything to her.
Besides her parents, she was also predeceased by her husband, Gordon Trelawney; sisters, Dinah and Joan, and brothers, Cyril, Burt and Joseph.
As per her request there will be no visitation. Cremation has taken place and burial at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of McLellan Brothers Funeral Home, 3183 Plummer Ave., New Waterford, NS. 902-862-7500.
