Mom also helped Dad by cleaning, painting and repairing Canadian Propane, the old Moose Jaw Shrine Club and Masonic Building, and the old and new exhibition ground buildings. As well Mom enjoyed volunteering for Jobs Daughters and Demolay, and of course helping her children over the years with whatever they needed be it help moving, helping with the new grandchildren, or just listening on the phone. Mom was a member of Minto United Church. She had been a member of Daughters of the Nile and Wa Wa Shrine Auxiliary. In her later years she still enjoyed keeping a spotless house, singing along to the old hymns and songs on TV and visiting with family and friends at Happy Hour.
