Passed peacefully away on April 30, 2011 at the Dr. Hugh Twomey Health Care Center, Olive Street of Bishop’s Falls. She was 84 years of age. She was predeceased by her husband, Garland; parents Arthur and Marion Purchase; sister, Hazel Budgell; brothers, Ralph, Wallace, Freeman and Harrison. She leaves to mourn her sons, Harrison (Annette), Tony (Diane), Garland Jr. (Tammy) and Barry (Karen); eight grand children and six great-grandchildren; sister, Margaret (Lloyd) Seaward. Major Wycliffe Reid conducted funeral services at Hoskins Funeral Home, Bishop’s Falls on Tuesday, May 3, 2011 with interment at the Salvation Army Cemetery. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Hoskins Funeral Home, Bishop’s Falls. Pallbearers were Barry, Harrison, Tony and Gregory Street; Chris Tobin and Mark Green.
