It is with great sadness that the family of the late Harold Saunders announce his passing at his family residence surrounded by his loving family in his 80th year. He will be sadly missed with fond and loving memories by his wife, Madge (nee Best); his children: Darrell (Donna), Linda, Glenn (Donna), Harley (Tina), Stella (Mervin) Glode, Irene (Jeff) Brown, Wayne (Barbara Rose), Eileen (Alan) Chase, Dana (Bonita), Tammy (Dwayne), Tanya (Randy), Brian (Lola) and Corey; his brother, Lambert (Jean); sisters: Kay (Gerry) and Gladys; also a large circle of grandchildren, great- grandchildren, relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his son, Lambert; parents: Clarence and Susie; brothers: Tom, Solomon and Ben; sisters: Milley, Mary and Madonna. Visitation will take place from Parsons Funeral Home & Chapel, 63 North Main Street, Deer Lake, today, Friday, August 14th, 2009 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m., where the funeral service will take place on Saturday, August 15th, 2009, at 2:00 p.m., Father John Collins officiating.
