Passed away on Tuesday, April 19, 2011 at the Notre Dame Bay Memorial Health Centre in Twillingate, Mrs. Jane Burry, age 83 years of Boyd’s Cove. Predeceased by her husband Llewellyn, son Dean, daughter Ivy, parents Ambrose and Annabella, brother Cecil, brothers-in-law Eddie, Ambrose, Fred, Henry (Leah), Claude (Louie) and sister-in-law Ella May. Left to mourn her passing are her sons Gordon (Velma), Melvin (Darlene), Lorne (Ellen), daughter Irene, Rowena (Francis), Ruby, Phoebe, Gloria (Hardy), Joan (Andy), Lorna (Brian), son-in-law Ross, grandchildren Trevor, Lori Jane, Connie, Marsha, Mandy, Milton, Jason, Mark, Matthew, Andrew, Katelynn, Christopher, Jennifer, Justin, Michael, Krystal, Darrin, Kelly, Vicky, great-grandchildren Phillip, Thomas, Luke, Todd, Jake, Autumn-Bree, Jack, Ivy, Isaak, Samantha, brother Wilson (Nellie), sisters Phoebe, Betty (John), brothers-in-law Albert John (Louise), Edward (Marina), Don; sisters-in-law Evelyn, Mary, Lydia, best friend Meta and a large circle of other relatives and friends. Rev. Yvonne Thistle and Rev. John Nichol conducted funeral service from the Anglican Church, Boyd’s Cove on Saturday, April 23, 2011. Interment was at the Anglican Church Cemetery. Pallbearers were Wilson Freake, Michael Burry, Ruby Burry, Mark Lewis, Matthew Lewis and Jason Lewis. Honorary pallbearers were Francis Pearce, Hardy Lewis and Andy Lewis.
