Passed peacefully away in the presence of her loving family, after a courageous battle with cancer on Wednesday, December 27th, 2017, Tara Dorothy Blackwood, age 46 years. Predeceased by her brother Geoffrey Squire in 1982. Leaving to mourn her loving husband and friend of 17 years, Chris; her one and only son whom she adored with all her heart, Nathan; her parents: Neville and Carol Squire; brother Danny (Moya); niece and nephew: Laura Sears (Cody) and Matthew Squire; mother and father-in-law: Pearl and Jim Blackwood; brothers and sisters-in-law; also many nieces, nephews, family and a large circle of friends. Resting at Carnell’s Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road from 2:00p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Friday, December 29th and from 10:00 a.m. to 12 noon Saturday, December 30th. Funeral service will take place on Saturday, December 30th, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. from St. Lawrence Anglican Church, Portugal Cove. Interment to follow at the Anglican Cemetery at Kenmount Road.
