NOSEWORTHY, Kenneth Mitchell - It is with the greatest sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Kenneth Mitchell Noseworthy of Waterville, Kings County. Ken loved his family and was very kindhearted, he always made sure he told you that he loved you. He was very proud of and loved to brag about his son, Ryan and step-daughter, Kayleigh. He enjoyed traveling, spending time at home and the cottage and making people laugh. In his early years, he worked with both Merks and Stirling Farms and was later employed with Michelin, Waterville for the past 28 years. He was a hard worker and liked to get the job done right. He was looking forward to his retirement and spending the rest of his life at the cottage in Black Rock with his best friend, Linda and his two little dogs, Buddy and Mya. He has left behind his wife, Linda Dodge; son, Ryan Noseworthy, Waterville; step-daughter, Kayleigh Dodge, Newfoundland; sisters, Heather Noseworthy-Smith (Paul), White Rock; Stacey Noseworthy (Ken Condon), Sackville; Tammy West (John), Berwick; brother, Steven Gates (Melanie), Centreville; step-brothers, David Gates and Ronnie Gates (Maryann), both of Aylesford; step-sister, Patti Gates (Stephen Bower), Kingston; guardian mother, Debbie Best and special aunt, Sue Pinch, both of Wolfville; cousins, Kim Pineo, Lesley-Anne McMahon, Tiffany Blenus and Rick Best. He was predeceased by his parents, Kenneth and Muriel (Brown) Noseworthy; step-father, Boyd Gates; guardian father, Les Best; grandparents, Gib and Florence Pinch and Albert and Barbara Noseworthy. Cremation has taken place. There was no visitation, by request. The funeral service, followed by a reception, was held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, May 7, 2011 in the White Family Funeral Home, Kentville, Reverend Doctor Judith Saunders officiating. A private family burial took place in the West Brooklyn Cemetery. Donations in memory may be made to Landmark East School.
