Passed away in the presence of her loving family, after a very courageous battle with Cancer on Tuesday, January 9th, 2018 at the Palliative Care Unit at The Dr. L.A. Miller Centre, Diane Elaine Bishop, age 51. Predeceased by her father Frederick Bishop; special friend Glenn St. Croix; grandparents: Harris and Florence Bishop and George and Nina Lomond; uncle James Bishop; aunt Dolores MacDonald and cousin David MacDonald. Leaving to mourn her loving and devoted sons and daughter-in-law: Jordan (Stacey) Parsons, Shane Parsons; mother Cammie Bishop; brothers and sister-in-law: Frederick Bishop, Jason (Danielle) Bishop; niece Sophia Bishop whom she dearly loved; aunts and uncles: Shirley (William) Andrews, Marina (Michael) North, Doreen Lomond, Gerald (Diane) Lomond, David (Maisie) Lomond, Sid MacDonald, Kathleen Delzotto and many other cousins, relatives, friends and her “girlie” special canine companion Roxy. Resting at Barrett’s Funeral Home, 73 Commonwealth Avenue, Mount Pearl, on Friday, January 12th 10-12, 2-4 and 7-9. Funeral Service to take place on Saturday, January 13th at 2 p.m. from Barrett’s Funeral Home Chapel, 73 Commonwealth Avenue, Mount Pearl. Inurnment to take place Monday, January 15th at 2 p.m. at the Anglican Cemetery, Kenmount Road. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Diane may be made to Daffodil Place.
