Passed away after a lengthly illness on May 6, 2011 at Lakeside Homes in Gander; Cora Bartlett. She was 80 years of age. She was predeceased by parents; Leslie & Janie, husband; Augustus, brothers; Lewis & Edgar, and grandchild; Danielle. Left to mourn are sons; Larry (Ronny), John (Charmaine), Perry (Paula), daughters; Carol-Ann (Pat Costigan) & Kim (Mike Longaphie). Also leaving to mourn sisters; Henriettia Peddle, Naomie Harris, & Jane Mclaren, brother; George Johnson (Ida), six grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; and a large circle of other relatives and friends. Rev. Brian Candow conducted funeral services from St. Martin’s Cathedral in Gander on Wednesday, May 11, 2011. Interment followed from the All Saints Cemetery. Pallbearers were Kim Longaphie, Carol-Ann Costigan, George Johnson, John Bartlett, Perry Bartlett, and Larry Bartlett. Donations in her memory can be made to The Alzheimer's Association.
