Wile, Elsie “Irene”, 76, of New Ross Road, Leminster, Hants County, passed away on Monday, January 8, 2018 at the Hants Community Hospital, Windsor. Born on March 21, 1941 in West Gore, Nova Scotia, she was a daughter of the late William and Dorothy (Singer) Fletcher. Irene was a dedicated and active community worker. Surviving are her sons, Andrew (Tasha), Kentville; Robin (Maureen), Windsor; daughter, Paula (Matt), Windsor; step-grandchildren, Mitchell, Paige, Alex, Larah; brothers, Laurie, Donald, Owen; several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her husband, Delma; brother, Bobby. Funeral service was held at 2 p.m. Friday, January 12, 2018 in the Lindsay Windsor Funeral Home Chapel, 194 King Street, P.O. Box 2218, Windsor, NS, B0N 2T0. Pastor Craig Faulkner officiated. Burial was in the Vaughn Community Cemetery. A reception followed in the Southwest Hants Fire Society Hall.
