The death occurred peacefully at her home in Charlottetown, of Phyllis McCabe (nee Buote), of Charlottetown, and formerly North Rustico, aged 57. She was the loving mother of Cory McCabe (Suzanne) and Sarah Phillips (Brendan); and grandmother of Mark, Brayden and Denver. She is also survived by Michael, Linda, Donnie (Susie), Paul (Shirley), Carl (Wanda), Tisha (Elmer), Peter, Brian (Cindy), Debbie (Garner); and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Phyllis was predeceased by her parents, Edward and Mary (Malone) Buote; and brother-in-law, Art Paugh. Resting at Central Queen’s Funeral Home, 2538, Glasgow Road, New Glasgow, for visitation on Wednesday, January 24, 2018 from 6 to 9 p.m., with a prayer service prior to the visitation at 5:30. Funeral mass will be celebrated at Stella Maris Roman Catholic Church, North Rustico, on Thursday, January 25, 2018 at 10:30 a.m. Interment in Stella Maris Cemetery.
