SMITH, Mildred Genevieve – age 90 of Paradise, NS formerly of Kingston and North Kingston passed away at Soldiers Memorial Hospital, Middleton on Tuesday, January 23, 2018 with her daughter by her side. Mom was the last surviving member of her immediate family. She is survived by her daughter, Janise (Lloyd) Conrad, Sarnia, ON and son, Robert (Pat) Smith, Abbottsford, BC. Mom was predeceased by her husband Paul Smith (2010); sons, Barry (1993); Darrell (2017); 7 sisters and 3 brothers. Surviving her are 6 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren, soon to be 3 and several nieces and nephews. Many special thanks to administrator Donna Hatt and staff for all the awesome care mom received at Grace Haven Home for Seniors, her second home. Thanks to doctors and nurses at Soldiers Memorial Hospital, Emergency Department and the doctors and nurses on Medical 3rd floor for all the compassionate care mom received in both departments. Cremation has taken place. As per family wishes, there will be no service and interment will be held at a later date in the North Kingston Cemetery.
