At the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Thursday, January 25, 2018 the passing of Russell Sterling MacSwain, age 59, beloved husband to Mary (Roach) MacSwain occurred, peacefully surrounded by family. Born in Charlottetown, October 11, 1958, he was the son of the late Norman and Carol (O’Hanley) MacSwain. Rusty will be sadly missed by his children, Adam (Crystal), Mary-Ann (David), Marjorie; brothers, Normie, Gerry (Shaunda), Randy; sister, Lynn (Tom); grandchildren, Emma, Jacob, Jack, Brooke, Parker, Jorgia, Ellie; aunts; uncles; cousins; nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by daughter, Tanya; brother Glen; mother and father-in-law Florence and Edward Roach. Resting at the Peter Gordon Memorial United Church, Morell with visiting on Sunday, January 28th from 5 to 8 p.m. Funeral to take place on Monday, January 29th from the Church at 2:30 p.m. Interment to take place in the Midgell Cemetery.
