Roderick (Roddy) MacKenzie, age 90, husband of the late Barbara Jean MacKenzie (nee Penny) passed away at the Dr. John M. Gillis Memorial Lodge on Friday, January 26, 2018. Born January 12, 1928, he was the son of the late John and Gertrude (Kneebone) MacKenzie. Roddy will be sadly missed by his children, Kenneth (Susan) MacKenzie, Karen MacKenzie, Ralph MacKenzie, Gail (Doug) Birt; sisters Christine Ellsworth, Mary (Lloyd) Cann; all grandchildren and great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Predeceased by, infant son John Cecil MacKenzie; brothers Alexander (Sandy), Alfred, Frederick; Isabel (Harold) King, Annie (Bill) Gilson. Resting at Ferguson Logan Montague Funeral Home with visiting on Wednesday, January 31st from 2-4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral service to take place in the Church of Christ, Montague on Thursday, February 1st at 11 a.m. Interment to follow in the Lower Montague Cemetery.
