Passed away on January 28th, 2018 at Charles S Curtis Memorial Hospital in St. Anthony at the age of 82 years. He leaves to mourn- thankful for a lifetime of memories- his wife Hazareth; daughter Beatrice (Boyce); son Ivan (Betty); grandchildren Susie Eileen (Hiram), Shana, Bianca (Jeremy)and Dominique; great-grandchildren Mitchel and Mackenzie; sisters Lourie, Mabel, Irene; brother Claude (Lillian); brothers-in-law Stanley (Bessie), James (Cornelia); sisters-in-law Virginia, Cora (Melvin), Ruby (Gerald), Edith (Kirby); daughters-in-law Daphne and Beatrice; special friend Maria Gould as well as a large circle of extended family and friends. Archibald was predeceased by his daughter Susie Eileen; sons John Brian, Archibald Jr, Alonzo; parents George and Beatrice; sister Minnie; brothers Harold, Jacob, Lush; as well as parents-in-law Susie and John. Visitation was held from St. Thomas’ Anglican Church in Sandy Cove from where the funeral was held on Thursday, February 1st, 2018 with Rev. Omar Reyes officiating. Interment followed. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Kerry M. Fillatre’s Funeral Home, St. Anthony and Roddickton, Lee Nippard, funeral director.
