Passed peacefully away at the Glenbrook Lodge on Saturday, February 3, 2018. Albert "Cecil" Rose of Pouch Cove at the age of 90 years. Predeceased by his parents Fred and Janet Rose, sister Annie Newell (late Hubert), and sister-in-law Cynthia Noseworthy. Leaving to mourn with loving memories his wife Joyce (nee Slade) of 64 years, daughters Sharon Sullivan (Don) and Glenda Strugnell (Clinton), dearly loved grandchildren Jeremy and Stephanie Strugnell, his sister Fanny Langmead (Herbert), brothers in-law Bill Slade (Alma), Jabe Slade (Daphne), George Slade (Patsy), Jim Slade (Louise) and Heber Brace, sisters-in-law Vida Short (late Ches), Frances Cole (Albert), dearly loved care giver Courtney Haynes and and her husband Scott, also a large circle of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends and special friend Herbie Hudson and Charlie and Verna Sullivan. Resting at Cauls Funeral Home, Torbay on Monday February 5, 2018 from 7-9 p.m., and Tuesday, February 6, 2018 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday February 7, 2018 at 2 p.m. from Memorial United Church in Pouch Cove, with interment to follow in Memorial United Cemetery.
