Edith Lambsdown, age 102 years, passed away peacefully Monday, May 9th, 2011, at Craik Medical Center, Saskatchewan. She is predeceased by parents Frank and Amy Lambsdown; brothers Charles, Fred (Gert), Frank (Florence), Ted (Jessie); sister Agnes Nolan and nephew Robert Nolan. She is survived by many nieces, nephews and friends. Edith was born in Regina, Wednesday, February 3rd, 1909, and raised in Tugaske, Saskatchewan. She was a hard worker with a warm and generous nature. Edith had a strong mind and will, so much so that she insisted on maintaining her routine by sitting up and eating breakfast, on the morning she died despite poor health. She will be sadly missed. Her kind and gentle nature made friends of all she met. A Graveside service will take place Tuesday, May 24th, 2011, at 1:30 p.m. at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens (east on 8th Street, turn right before rail crossing).
