The death occurred suddenly as the result of a single motor vehicle accident in East Point, P.E. on February 6, 2018 of John Frederick MacDonald, formerly of North Lake, P.E. Dear husband of Anne MacDonald (nee MacPhee), and beloved father of Johanna Field (David). Loving grampie to Lauren, and Vivian. Survived by siblings Gerald, Bernadette McInnis (Leo), Loretta Walsh (Leroy), Charlie (Helen), Victor (Debbie), Patricia MacDonald, Bernard, and numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by brother Leonard. Resting at Dingwell Funeral Home with visiting hours on Friday, February 9, 2018 from 2-4 p.m., and 7-9 p.m. A Knights of Columbus service will be held at the funeral home on Friday, February 9, 2018 at 1:30 p.m. Funeral Mass to be celebrated at St. Columba Roman Catholic Church on Saturday, February 10, 2018 at 1 p.m. Interment to follow in the church cemetery.
