We are sorry to announce the passing of Alexander Gillis MacNeil at the Rouge Valley Health Centre in Ajax, Ont. on Wednesday, May 11, 2011 surrounded by his beloved wife of 49 years Kathie (MacNeil); his daughters, Lori and Ellen and her husband Kevin Brillinger.
Cherished papa of Sarah and Kayleigh. Dear brother of Dolena Bennett (Bill), Marcie (Evelyn) and the late Mary, Peggy, Frances, Margaret, Neil, Joseph, Tony, Lloyd, Lawrence, Joseph and Angus. Alex will be fondly remembered by all of his family and friends.
Visitation will take place at W.C. Town Funeral Chapel, 110 Dundas St. East, Whitby, Ont., on Saturday May 14, 2011 from 7 - 9 p.m. and Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Monday May 16, 2011 at 10:30 a.m. at Holy Family Church, 91 Ribblesdale Drive, Whitby, Ont., followed by interment at Resurrection Catholic Cemetery.
