After a courageous and lengthy battle with cancer, at his home on Thursday, February 22, 2018 of Melis Visser, Winsloe South, age 53 years. Beloved husband of Juanita Diamond. Dear father of Zachary and Kristyn. Son of his parents Peter and Roeloffina Visser. Brother of Linda Murphy (Travis), Nellie VanLaare (Brad), Phil Visser (Lori), Deb Vreughdenhil (Derek) and Justin Visser (Missy). Brother-in-law of Wayne Diamond (Joan Reeves), Glenda Lane (Richard), Beverly Diamond (Ned Hettinger), Lillian Dowling and Blaine Diamond (JoAnne). Uncle of Alana, Tynan and Chloe Murphy; Courtney, Tessa and Kaitlyn VanLaare; Brandon Hughes (Julie Ann), Hunter and Noah Visser; Frankie, Talia, Ben and Sophie Vreughdenhil; James, Landon and Claire Visser; Nicholas (Amy) and Angela Diamond; Christopher Diamond-Hettinger; Anthony, Lindsay and Candice Dowling; Rebecca Milton. Predeceased by his parents-in-law Russell and Florence (MacDonald) Diamond and niece Sarah Murphy. Resting at Belvedere Funeral Home for visitation Sunday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held at the Winsloe United Church on Monday at 2 p.m. Interment later in South Winsloe Cemetery.
