Peacefully at the MacMillan Lodge, on Wednesday, August 19, 2009, of Vera Blanche MacDonald (nee Kirby) formerly of 89 St. Peters Road, Charlottetown in her 92nd year. Wife of the late Borden MacDonald and mother of Mardie Pickard, Edmonton, Alberta and Ralph MacDonald, Ottawa, Ontario. Loving grandmother to Wade, Victoria and Rachael. Also survived by five great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild and a brother, Gordon Lewis of Charlottetown, as well as several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents John and Elsie (Muttart) Kirby along with a brother Gerald Lewis and a sister Violet Williams (nee Lewis). Resting at the Cutcliffe Funeral home.
