Minnie loved to cook and bake, she was sure to have a meal on hand no matter what time you arrived. She loved having company whether you stayed an hour or for several days, you always felt welcome in her home. You could feel her love up close or from afar.

Minnie loved and cherished all of the time she spent with her children and grandchildren. She was sure to tell them how much she loved them, “A bushel & a peck and a hug around your neck.”
Besides her parents, Minnie was predeceased by her husbands, Elmer Harris and Daniel MacDougall; her loving son, Frederick Harris; stepsons, Danny, Frankie, Roddie, Jimmy and Douglas MacDougall; by her sisters, Nellie, Bessie and Lilly; her brothers, William, Lodrick, George, Fred and Albert; grandchildren, Cathy, George, Barb, Frankie and Joey Scott, Deborah Ann Degaust; sons-in-law, George Scott, Cecil Degaust, Leonard Chisholm and Norman T. “Diddy” MacIntyre.
