Passed peacefully away after a lengthy illness, Nita Stone age 75 at St. Clare’s Mercy Hospital surrounded by family. Predeceased by her loving husband David; parents Henley and Agnes Legge; brother Eleck; sisters-in-law: Lorraine, Helen and Carol; and brother-in-law Joe. Leaving to mourn son Lawrence (Sheena); brothers: Enos (Diane), and Eric (Joan); sisters: Doreen, Jean (Douglas), and Josie (Darcy); brother-in-law Douglas Stone (Lily); grandchildren: Adam (Stacey), Pamela, Amy (Brian), and Crystal (Brett); great-grandchildren: Gavyn, McKenna, Darrien, and Brayden; Foster Children: Gerard, Paul and others she cared for throughout the years. Also leaving behind many nephews and nieces other family and friends especially those at St. Georges Court and her caregivers. Resting at Barrett’s Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Ave., on Saturday, March 17, 2018, from 7pm-9pm, and on Sunday, March 18, 2018, from 2pm-4pm and 7pm-9pm. Funeral service will be held from St. Thomas’ Anglican Church on Monday, March 19, 2018, at 2:00 p.m., with interment to follow at the Anglican Cemetery Kenmount Rd.
