It is with profound sadness that the family announces the passing of Elizabeth (Betty) on May 13, peacefully, at Ross Memorial Hospital, in her 90th year. Predeceased by Allan Templeton, dearest husband and companion of 58 years; parents Armour and Marguerite Love; and brother Eric. Survived by sons Robert (Anne) and Tony (Laura), granddaughter Sarah Templeton, all of Toronto, and many cherished nieces and nephews. Charter member of Daughters of St. Andrew’s Church of Lindsay. Cremation has taken place. A private memorial service will take place at a later date. The family wishes to express their deep gratitude to so many who made Betty’s illnesses and our grief more bearable during the past months, including Teresa Wallwin, Dawn Griffiths, the staff of Lakeland Village, the staff of the palliative care unit of Ross Memorial Hospital, and especially Dr. M. Stone. Loving, giving, wise, and strong, she showed thoughtful kindness to all.
