It is with great sadness that the family of Ivy Marie Decker announce her passing on Friday, March 23, 2018 at Curtis Memorial Hospital in St. Anthony at the age of 83 years. She was born in Cook’s Harbour on July 13th, 1934. She leaves to mourn with precious memories, her loving family: sons, Glenn (Glenda) Pittman, Barry (Sharon) Decker, Trevor (Kim) Decker; daughters Evelyn (Dennis) Keats, Wanda (Brian) Hughes, Dorcas (Doug) Pelton; grandchildren Glenn (Arlene), Shelley, Chris (Vina), Barry (Tracey), Tara and Allie; great-grandchildren Cody and Max; sister Gladys Warren; brothers Everton Pittman and Aaron (Winnie) Pittman. Ivy also leaves behind a special friend Louise Short and a wide circle of family and friends. She is pre-deceased by her husband, Maxwell Aaron Decker. Visitation was held from St. Matthews Anglican Church in Cook’s Harbour from where the funeral was held on Tuesday, March 27th, 2018 at 11:00 am with Rev. Katie Flynn officiating.
