Passed peacefully away with his loving family by his side at Carbonear General Hospital on Tuesday, March 27, 2018, Chesley M. Pye of Carbonear, age 71 years. Predeceased by parents: Leonard and Elsie; brothers: Harvey, George and Frederick; sisters: Lilly, Ruby, Eileen, and Linda. Left to mourn his loving wife of 49 years: Elsie; four daughters: Terri (Chris) Green, Carbonear, Sherry (Paul) Crawford and Kerry (Dan) King, both of Whitehorse and Kayla Pye (Chris Dowden), Carbonear; two sons: Chesley (Claire Koblogina), Cambridge Bay, Nunavut and Jim (Melissa), Grand Falls-Windsor; eleven grandchildren: Brandon, Dakota, Cody, Brady, Hannah, Tyrell, Brenna, Benjamin, Zachary, Zoe, and Christopher; one brother: Lorne (Mary), Calgary, AB; sisters-in-law: Barbara Pye, St. John’s and Shirley Pye, Carbonear; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Rested at Noel's Funeral Home, Water Street, Carbonear. Lieutenants Dwayne and Susan Goulding conducted the funeral service on Sunday, April 1st from Noel's Memorial Chapel, Carbonear.
