Passed peacefully away at the Carbonear General Hospital on Wednesday, March 28, 2018, C. Florence Parsons of Carbonear, in her 100th year. Predeceased by husband: George W.; great-grandson: Jake Richard; parents: George and Ellen Flight; sisters: Maggie (Tom), Mary (Herb), Lizzy (Herb), Gertie and Goldie. Left to mourn, one son: Maxwell G. (Florence), Carbonear; two granddaughters: Nancy (Bob) McDonald and Georgette (Stephen) Stapleton; two great-granddaughters: Ava and Ella; one sister: Phyllis Smith, Hant’s Harbour; brother-in-law: Bob Dubelt, Ontario; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Rested at Noel's Funeral Home, Water Street, Carbonear. Rev. Wilson Gonese conducted the funeral service on Saturday, March 31 from Bethany United Church, Carbonear.
