Charles Senga

Charles (Charlie) Senga was the second of 6 children born to Jan (John) & Mary (Romanchuk) Senga on their farm southeast of Meath Park, Sk. He spent 80 years on that farm. His love for that land lasted till the day he died. Charlie was predeased by his parents John (1953), Mary (1996), sister Kay (2014), sister-in-law Hilda (2016), brother Louis (2017) nephew Raymond (2004). He is survived by his brother Peter in Lanigan, brother Frank (Louise) in Saskatoon, brother Larry (Brenda) in Saskatoon. Also survived by 8 nephews & nieces, Isabelle (Ray’s widow), Tom (Lori), Mike (Colleen), Linda, Paul (Elaine), Rose (James), Virginia (Glen), Jae (Amanda). Also 9 great nephews & nieces David, Sandra, Pam, Craig, Heather, Matthew, Shane, Brandon, Kaylee & one to arrive soon. One great-great nephew Luca & one to arrive soon. He also leaves behind his many cousins that he was very close to. Besides family Charlie had 3 great loves, his farm, John Deere tractors & curling. Charlie had to give up curling last year after 30 years. He was invited by the seniors curling league to the year end banquet to receive a long- time curler recognition for his years curling just 4 days before his passing. He never quit smiling all night. Funeral service for Charlie will be held April 7, 2018 at St. Mark’s Roman Catholic Church, 581 9thSt. E. Prince Albert at 2:30 PM.
