Passed peacefully away at Carbonear General Hospital, Carbonear on Tuesday, April 10, 2018, Mrs. Minnie Parsons of Shearstown, aged 96 years. Mrs. Parsons, daughter of the late Albert and Olivia Tuttle, was preceded in death by her husband Abram, infant daughter Eileen Mary, son Kevin; brothers Tom, Harry and Herman (infancy); sisters Elizabeth Verge, Mary Bradbury and in infancy Effie, Susie, Pearl and Mary Jane.
Leaving with many happy family memories are sons Bill (Margaret) Parsons and Edsel (Lorraine) Parsons; daughters Olivia Gosse (Bruce) and Effie Parsons; daughter-in-law Olive, 8 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. Mrs. Parsons will be resting at Full Gospel Pentecostal Church, Shearstown with visitation on Wednesday: 7 – 9 p.m.; Thursday: 10 a.m. – 9 p.m. and Friday: 10 a.m. – 11 a.m. The funeral service will take place from the Full Gospel Pentecostal Church, Shearstown on Friday, April 13, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. with interment to follow at the Pentecostal Cemetery, Shearstown. Flowers are gratefully accepted or donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Full Gospel Pentecostal Church, Shearstown. May she rest in peace with her departed family.
