We, the family of the late Marie Stephens, wish to express our sincere thanks to our families, relatives, friends, and neighbours for their love and support during this sad and difficult time. To those who came from away, attended the service, visited at mom’s, telephoned, sent food, flowers, cards and monetary donations to Cape Breton Palliative Care, we are forever grateful. A special thank you to Rev. Kent who performed a beautiful service. We know mom would have been so pleased. Thank you to Diana Trider, Helena MacLeod and Bernie MacIntosh who did readings. To the staff of Palliative Care, you are true angels. To the staff at Sydney Memorial Chapel, especially Kollin, your kindness and professionalism shone brightly. Also, a special acknowledgment to mom’s care workers (Kathy, Alison, Tammy and Alana). It will always be a comfort to know so many people loved mom. Your compassion and kindness will be remembered.
