Beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend, passed peacefully away at the Health Science Centre on April 17, 2018, age 81. Predeceased by parents Andrew and Emily Ann Tucker. Left to mourn Cynthia Cleary (Gary) and Joyce Whelan (Kevin); grandchildren: Stephanie O’Brien (Jody), Danielle Cleary (Curtis Snelgrove), Andrew Somerton (Nikki Carew), Jennifer Somerton (Jason Ryan), Emily Whelan and Jacob Whelan; great-grandchildren: Aidan Slaney, Jillian Slaney, Evan O’Brien and Jack O’Brien; special friends Maple and Frank Hussey, who she dearly loved, and thought of as a sister and a brother. A special thanks to the doctors and nurses at Health Sciences Centre who provided great care during her stays in hospital. Visitation will be held at Carnell’s Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road on Wednesday, April 18 from 7-9 pm, Thursday, April 19 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm, and Friday, April 20 from 10-12 noon. Funeral from St. Philip’s Anglican Church on Friday, April 20 at 2 pm with interment to follow at St. Philip’s Anglican Cemetery.
