It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden, tragic passing of our dear daughter, niece, sister, granddaughter and mother. Predeceased by her mother Mary, Nan Whalen, brother John Robert, uncle Kevin, Grandfather Etienne Jacobish. Alyssa will be sadly missed by her precious daughter Alexis, who will be always reminded of her mother’s love.
Left to mourn with fond and loving memories are her father and best friend Dale (Natasha); sisters Miranda, Summer and Mackenzie; aunts and uncles Special Aunt Rhonda (Danny), “Favorite” Aunt Kim, Ronnie (Angela), Gordon, Eddy (Cassandra), Bridget and Paddy; Grandparents Rose (Sol) and Gordon Groves; great grandparents Marg Groves and Nanny Fanny; Godmother Amanda Walsh; cousins Cassandra, Arabella, Alexandra, Ashton, Aaden, Joshua, Rebecca, Gregory, Jasmine, Jessica, Aleigha, Rebekah, Nathaniel, Danielle, David, Isobella, Lawrence, Ajax and special cousin Greyson; as well as a large circle of other family and friends. Resting at Caul’s Funeral Home, Lemarchant Road, on Wednesday from 12-4pm and 7-9pm and Thursday from 10am-4pm and 7-9pm. Funeral Mass to take place on Friday, April 20th at 10am from the Basilica of St. John the Baptist. Interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Flowers gratefully accepted or a donation in Alyssa’s name may be made to a charity of one’s choice. Alyssa was a young woman full of life that was just beginning, her contagious laughter and strong will that will be missed by all, especially her pride and joy, daughter Alexis.
