At the Margaret Stewart Ellis Home, O’Leary on Tuesday, April 17, 2018 of Mary "Olive" Buote formerly of Alaska aged 93, wife of the late John Buote. Olive was born at Kelly Road on October 12, 1924, daughter of the late Ernest and Mary Ann (Gallant) Buote. Loving mother to Vincent (Rose Ann), Alaska; Teresa MacTaggart, Alaska; Ann (Douglas) Lockhart, Coleman; Inez (Bruce) Allan, Brampton, ON; Ernie (Pauline), Bedford, N.S.; Mary (Tony) Potts, Bedford, N.S. Cherished grandmother to John Ryan, Terry (Hearther), Jeremy, Nathan, Adam, Shannon (Todd), Justine (Eddie), Megan (Bobby), Emily, Lauren, Liam, Johnathan and great grandmother to Tyson, Mya and Lucas. Predeceased by her parents, brothers Vince, Vincent, Edgar, Alyre, Leo and sisters Mae Tini, Theresa and an infant sister. Resting at the Ferguson Funeral Home and Chapel, O’Leary with visiting hours Thursday 5-8 p.m. and Friday until 10:30 a.m. then to Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church, Brae for funeral Mass at 11 a.m. Interment later in the Parish Cemetery. In memory of Olive, memorials to the Immaculate Conception Parish Cemetery Fund, St Anthony’s Parish Restoration Fund or Margaret Stewart Ellis Home - Residents Council Fund would be appreciated.
