It is with regret that we the family announce the passing of David McNeil, age 70, on Monday, April 16, 2018 at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital, Sydney.
Born in Glace Bay he was the son of the late Angus and Elizabeth “Lizzie" (McMullin) McNeil.
He was employed with DEVCO until his retirement.
Dave is survived by his brother, John Q. (Sharon) McNeil; sisters, Miriam (Merle) England and Betty (Emery) Aube; sister-in-law, Sharon McNeil; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his brothers, Tye and Brian McNeil; two nephews and a niece.
Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held 2 p.m. on Friday, April 20, 2018 at TJ Tracey Cremation & Burial Specialists, 370 Reserve St., Sydney, NS 902-849-4199. Burial to follow in Immaculate Conception Church, Bridgeport.
