Marcel Charles Krack
September 08, 1922 – April 25, 2018
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Marcel Krack at the age of 95, on Wednesday April 25th,2018 at The Herb Bassett Home in Prince Albert. Marcel was born on September 08, 1922 in Rosthern, SK to Charles and Angel (Arcand) Krack. He was one of five children. Marcel met and fell in love at the young age of 23 to Luella Ruth Lean and married on June 19th, 1945 and remained together till her passing on July 26th,2009. They had two sons, Calvin and Kurtis. On March 31st, 2010 he found love again and married a second time to Mary McKinlay. To provide for his family Marcel worked as an auto body repair technician till into his late 40’s, then deciding to work at Prince Albert Pulp Mill till his retirement 1987. Through his work he made many lasting friendships that followed him through life. One of the biggest enjoyments for Marcel was hunting, you could find him going to various locations in central and northern Saskatchewan, he continued to hunt up to the age of 89. Countless hours he would spend rebuilding trucks, snowmobiles and ATV’s, so an acreage east of Prince Albert in 1960 was the most logical choice. Marcel was an active member of K of C and he enjoyed singing in the choir till into his mid-80’s.
Marcel will be forever missed by his loving wife: Mary; sons: Calvin (Barbara) Krack; and Kurtis Krack; grandchildren: Kirk (Calvin/ Barbara) spouse: Mandy; great grandchildren: Kaila Marine Krack (Kirk/ Mandy); siblings: Herman Krack, Helen Ruchotzke (Charles); and many nieces and nephews.
Marcel is predeceased by: Luella Ruth Krack (Lean); Mary Regier (Don); Stella Rock (Ernie); many, many, many pets.
Prayer Service will be held at Gray’s Funeral Chapel 575-28th St. W, on April 27th @ 7:30 pm and Funeral Service will take place at St. Mark’s Roman Catholic Church, #581 – 9th St. E on April 28th @ 1:30 pm
