James W. ‘Jimmy Bully’ McDonald

It is with deepest sadness that the family of James W. McDonald of Glace Bay announce his passing on May 1, 2018, age 78, at home with family. Born in New Victoria, he was the son of the late Ronald and Loretta (Baldwin) McDonald. Jimmy was a coal miner, dog catcher and auto enthusiast.
He is survived by his loving wife, Louise (Allison), of 58 years; son, Raymond (Mary) MacDonald; daughters, Jeannie McDonald (Terry Toomey) and Allison (Bernie) Lee; as well as his pride and joy, grand daughters, Stacey and Amanda Lee, all of Glace Bay. He is also survived by brothers, Danny (Noreen) McDonald and Francis (Cathy) McDonald; sisters, Carrie (Duncan) McKinnon and Tina Gauthier, and many nieces and nephews.
Jimmy was predeceased by his brothers, Ronald, Alfred, John and Raymond.

No visitation. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to T.J. Tracey Cremation and Burial Specialists, 370 Reserve St., Glace Bay, NS, 902-849-4199. A memorial service will be held at T.J. Tracey Funeral Home on Thursday, May 10, 2018 at 3 p.m. A reception will follow downstairs.
