It is with great sadness that the family of the late Florence Drover announce her passing on Tuesday, May 8th, 2018 at the Palliative Care Unit at WMRH. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her sons: Don (Kathe), Tony (Dana); seven grandchildren: David (Lisa), Christine, Donna, Jillian, Melissa (Cory) Williams, Toni (Joey) King, Jeremy; nine great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild; her brother-in-law Harry Drover; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews and friends including the St. Michael’s ACW members. Florence was predeceased by her husband Ronald, 1990 and son Roy, 2008. Visitation will take place at Country Haven Funeral Home, 167 Country Road on Thursday, May 10, 2018 from 2-4 and evening from 7-9 pm. Funeral service will take place on Friday, May 11 at 2 at the St. Michael and All Angels on Park Drive with Rev. Roberta Woodman officiating. Interment to follow at Mount Patricia. A very special thank you to Dr. Robert O’Driscoll for his many years of devoted care to our Mother. Also, thank you to the staff at Bay Shore Estates, Irishtown and the Palliative Care Unit, WMRH. As expressions of sympathy, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Michael’s and All Angels Church Fund or the Palliative Care Unit, WMRH, Corner Brook.
