The death occurred peacefully, with her family by her side, at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Charlottetown, on Friday, May 11, 2018 of Catherine “Jean” Drake (MacRae) of Atlantic Baptist Home and Tea Hill, wife of the late Edison Drake. She is lovingly remembered by her children Karen Wood (Glenn), Ronnie (Barb), Gordon (Mary) and Erroll (Faye). Proud Nana of Sean (Martina), Andrew, and Joel Drake; Aaron (Tara), Dean (Karen) and Darcy (Jenn) Wood; Jill (Matt), Nathan (Jodi), and Sarah Drake; Jenna and Laurell (Stephen) Drake; Erin Smith (Adam), Gill Boutilier (Kirk) and 16 great-grandchildren. Also survived by sisters-in-law Irene MacRae and Anna MacRae. Predeceased by her parents John and Marion (Martin) Drake, by her brothers Donald, John and Blair MacRae and by brother-in-law and sister-in-law Wynston and Arlene Drake. Resting at Belvedere Funeral Home for visitation Monday 4-8 p.m. Funeral Tuesday from St. Andrew’s United Church, Vernon Bridge at 11 a.m. Interment in the church cemetery.
