Passed away suddenly at his residence on February 18, 2008 Brian Ross Martin, aged 48 years. Predeceased by his father Dr. Ross Martin; father-in-law Fred Higdon and brother-in-law Jason Stevenson. Leaving to mourn his loving wife of 24 years Cheryl (Higdon); his two precious daughters Melissa and Lori; mother Margot; sisters Sharon (Melv), Karen-Lynn (Erkki); brothers Terry (Cathy) and Peter; mother-in-law Claire Higdon as well as a large circle of other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends, especially his golfing buddies: Neal, Ray and Terry and all his close friends at Bally Haly Golf and Country Club; his colleagues, co-workers and neighbours. Brian was Past-President of the St. John's East Rotary Club and served on numerous other boards and community organizations. Resting at Carnell's Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road on Wednesday and Thursday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Funeral service to take place on Friday, February 22, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. from St. James United Church.
