Passed away peacefully at Palliative Care Unit of the Dr. L.A. Miller Centre on Saturday, May 26, 2018, in his 76th year, surrounded by his loving family. Left with fond and loving memories his wife Ruth; son Rick (Pauline) of P.E.I.; daughters Kim (Gerry) Smith of Mt. Pearl and Lori and her fiance Dean Gillingham of Mt. Pearl; ten beautiful grandchildren and seven amazing great-grandchildren; brother Ashton; sisters: Joyce of St. John’s, Jane (Bob) Howell of St. John’s and Dianne of London, ON; sisters-in-law: Rosalie of St. John’s, Judy of Pouch Cove and Cathy (Don) of Torbay; brother-in-law Bill (Betty) of Ottawa, ON; also a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. A special thanks to the staff of Palliative Care. Your kindness and care was so greatly appreciated. Resting at Barrett’s Funeral Home, 73 Commonwealth Avenue, Mount Pearl, on Monday and Tuesday, May 28th and 29th, from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm; and on Wednesday, May 30th, from 10 am - 12 pm. Funeral service to be held at the Eastern Gate Church, 759 Empire Avenue, on Wednesday, May 30th, at 2 pm.
